Elk City Mining, LLC (“ECM") is a pre-production privately held company, currently under a letter of intent with Premium Exploration, Inc., (www.premiumexploration.com) (TSX-V:PEM) and Clearwater Mining Corporation.  This company is currently placing the Buffalo Gulch gold deposit located near Elk City, Idaho into production as an open-pit heap leach gold mine using sustainable development practices.

This web site is designed to provide information to the public about the Buffalo Gulch project. It will be continuously updated as the Buffalo Gulch project progresses.  We will post current information about our intended Plan of Operations for the mine, the associated mine permitting process and information on the sustainable mining practices we are planning to use.

On August 15, 2008 the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”) published a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (“EIS”) for the Buffalo Gulch Mine.  The NOI started the EIS process and the initial 30 day public comment and project scoping period which ends on September 15, 2008.

On August 28, 2008 there will be a public site tour of the proposed Buffalo Gulch mine site, followed by a public meeting at the Elk City Ranger Station in Elk City, Idaho.  This public meeting and mine site tour will be led by the BLM, with participation from representative of the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and ECM.
